All,
I have filled I-485 in 2007, PD is June 2006, EB2. I went to India and came back using my AP on 07/16/2008. I was working for the same company when I came back. I have changed my employer in April, and haven't filled for AC21 yet.
Can you please help me with following question?
My Question is: Will it be Okay to travel using Advance Parole after changing employer and not filled AC21? If anyone traveled like this, Can you please let me know what documents do I need to take with me?
I am in the same boat and travelled twice, no questions asked about employment.

By the way, do you believe in the news from other billion news website? I think most of us visit other websites to verify if the info is correct so that there is no propoganda involved. If you think timesofindia is one of them than don't visit that website but you cannot request others to do the same.

I am planning on moving from Company A to Company B. I have an approved I-140 from Company A which was approved in Sept 2007 and also applied for 485 on July 2nd 2007. It has been almost 1.5 yrs since I applied for 485 and I-140 approval.
Planning to move from Company A to Company B. Company A will not revoke my I-140 that is for sure. I am moving to a good company with 1000+ workforce and in an upcoming industry. It is not a consulting firm. It is a product based company. My wife is currently on EAD and is relying on it to work.
What are the odds that my AC21 may be wrongfully denied. I am having a hard time sleeping while thinking about this. I am on my H1. Can she still use her EAD while we file a petition for Motion to Reopen in the event that the 485 is wrongfully denied or does she have to change to H4 immediatly.
Can some one share your thoughts.

Her H4 is not valid. She did travel to India without an approved AP.
Can we cancel her GC application and bring her back on H4?

Get your degree evaluated by WES http://www.wes.org. or http://www.trustfortecorp.com/cou_evaluations.html
They will do a course by course evaluation and will let you know if your degree is equivalent to 4 year US degree. I am not sure if they will evaluate aptech one but try it out. Keep this copy with you and incase you get a RFE, answer it with this report. There is high chances that it will be approved.

Don't worry, his viewership is something like 200k. considering 300 million population of the US, just think what %age of people watch him? i don't think his constant whining makes a diff. Americans are smart enough that these so called news anchors are nothing more than sales/marketing guys employed indrectly by the political parties.
People like Sean Hannity, rush linbaugh constantly bashed Obama (they still do), but how much diff does it make to the american people?

I am from India having masters in engineering and i have 9 years IT experience. Ofcourse my Lawyer filed in EB3 (in 2003) thinking that PD will be current in future. Now i140 cleared in EB3 . What next? Since i am in consulting company i don't have any problem sticking to company. Only problem is maintaining status. As long as i am in job no problem. Who knows market will be like this. I am just re thinking to go for EB2 filing. But not sure how many were able to clear Eb2 in PERM.How much salary required ? (My company located in Detroit).

Cross country chargeability worked for me but you have to be persistent in sending the docs couple of times ; call them or take an appointment with IO as last resort. I got it in 3 months after using this option. I had an RFE for using AC21 but finally got it approved

The statistics they have provided might be correct but useless for any PD date information. Applications include all kinds of 485s, AP, EAD and renewals.
If USCIS really wanted to provide statistics they should have provided how many EB based 485s they have (further dividing them by PD year and country), and same thing for family based. Clubbing these two together is stupid.

Receipts usually sends to Attorney, who represent your case, if you signed G-28 form. You only get Notice for FP, Original EAD, AP. So don't worry abt the receipt. It should be with your attroney.
What if the lawyer does not have the receipt notice either? Will I need a copy of the receipt notice or original when applying for EAD/ AP renewal? or can I use any other supporting documents?

I have heard such cases and as per law, you are responsible to bring it to the USCIS notice about their mistake. Since you have one more month left, it is better to work with your attorney to iron out this issue. Make sure you bring this to UCSIS notice.
TO get 3 year extension your attorney needs to file the copy of approved 140along with the request for H1b extension. Make sure to ask for H4 also if you have one.
